Additional Skills and Competences
Unique expertise of VET sub-claster is set of Core Competencve Packages, on which combined complementary training system is based. Methodology-wise, the expertise comprises both flexibility and dynamics of free complementary training, and stability of formal educational system.
Particular emphasize is paid to elaboration of packages, according to four main types of workers: Operator, Master Technician, Technological Engineer, Operations Manager.
Complementary training pilot projects
​2014 - present
​Different pilot projects are carried out for identifying best reasonable teaching methodologies and testing different types of curricula. There have been two distinguished types of complementary training - those based on traditional engineers' curricula, identified on training institutions and secondly: those based on tailored, continuously dynamic training programs, used by industries in Estonia and neighbouring countries.
Elaboration of Competence Packages

Networking Activities - Continuous
​The purpose of networking activities is to identify key experts for different stages of curricula development. Inter alia, experts of didactical/ andragogical skills are invited, together with experienced and innovative HR managers of industries. In parallel, through networking also additional institutional partners are identified.
